This is a great Kappo style restaurant to be at. Just a short walk from the JR, but slightly hidden as it's down some stairs in a small lane. Once you get in, it's bright and welcoming. The produce selection here felt special: the cooked fish were very tender and fatty - which is a good thing. We had Kinki, red Snapper, Tilefish. Highly recommended

Near Otsu Station. It is definitely delicious. I think it's a great store that makes two greats with Makino.
